Alborz Fundraiser January 26th, 2009
We held a fundraiser at Alborz Persian Cuisine on January 26th, 2009. My friend Mohammed owns the restaurant and I used to waitress there part time for years. He graciously agreed to donate 15% of the dinner sales on that Monday towards my volunteer trip with Libraries of Love. We ended up having 75+ attendees and we raised a total of $550.00 that night.
I am so appreciative of all the parents, students, friends and coworkers that came out to support this project. It was so successful (and yummy!), that many mentioned we should hold it again. So, we are! Our next Alborz benefit dinner will be on Monday, March 9th, from 4:30-9:30pm. Again, 15% of the dinner sales will be donated towards this volunteer effort. Come if you can and spread the word!!
Alborz Fundraiser 3-9-2009
We held our second fundraiser dinner at Alborz on Monday, March 9th and it was a success! We had about 55+ friends and supporters come out and we raised $176.00 which is great! Thanks to everyone who came out to support us!
